Johnson County War Movie Review 2002

The Hammett brothers, Cain (Berenger), Harry (Perry), and Dale (Storke) struggle to protect their ranch against greedy cattle barons after their property and that of other homesteaders. And in this case, the "law" in the guise of trigger-happy Hunt Lawton (Reynolds) is on the side of the bad guys. Based on the novel "Riders of Judgment" by Frederic Manfred. The story of this 1890s Wyoming range war was also covered in the film "Heaven's Gate."
