Undercover investigations reveal the plight of the indigenous Tarahumara people of northern Mexico. Oppressed by criminal drug lords and trapped in governmental corruption their traditional cultures are severely threatened. After the public assassination of a key Tarahumara leader and human rights advocate, the drug boss implicated in the murder receives a full pardon. This film provides a thought-provoking view on the failed War on Drugs.
