In My Corner Movie Review 1999

Follows the boxing training and life struggles of two young Latino boys fighting their way to adulthood in New York City's South Bronx. Though both youths have many battles to overcome the support and guidance or their trainers/surrogate fathers is a compelling reminder that heroes shape the lives of young people in many ways.
