Dramatic portrayal of a letter composed in 1941 by a Russian Jewish woman doctor from a small city in Ukraine to her son, a famous Russian physicist working on the front lines at a Soviet science research institute. The letter is written a few days before she and other Jews in the city will be killed and recounts her life, childhood, heritage, courage, and compassion. In French with English subtitles.
