The Experiment Movie Review 2001

A prestigious medical institute recruits 20 men to spend two weeks in a controlled prison environment for a psychology experiment. Eight are chosen as guards and the remaining 12 are prisoners. The guards, led by sadist Berus (von Dohnanyi), soon begin abusing their power and their prisoners while the prisoners, led by Tarek (Bleibtreu), challenge their authority and the scientists simply lose control of their experiment. Based on the novel "Black Box" by Giordano. German with subtitles.
