Due East Movie Review 2002

Sixteen-year-old Mary Faith (Bryant) is about to be named class valedictorian when she reveals she's pregnant. The small southern town of Due East is scandalized, especially when she refuses to name the father and intends to have the baby. But Mary Faith's predicament yields some unexpected blessings with new friendships and romance. Based on the young adult novels "Due East" and "How I Got Him Back" by Valerie Sayers.
