So-so actioner has Hong Kong cop Eddie (Chan) transformed into an immortal warrior with superhuman powers thanks to a mysterious medallion. Eddie teams up with British Interpol agents Watson (Evans) and the beautiful Nicole (Forlani) and travels to Dublin to learn the medallion's secrets, rescue a kidnapped holy child, and fight the evil Snakehead (Sands), who wants the medallion for his own nefarious purposes (no doubt, world domination is involved). Nothing special in the way of plot but pic is watchable due to Chan's usual skills and considerable charm. Though still impressively doing much of his own stunt work, Chan's signature brand of gymnastic-style martial-arts is slightly undercut here by digital enhancement and an unnecessary array of special effect, fast-motion sequences.
