Spliced Movie Review 2003

Slick slasher that may be derivative but still manages some shudders. High school senior Mary Ryan (Balaban) is obsessed with horror movies and much too suggestible. She becomes convinced that the mad slasher character in one of her faves is not only real but offing her classmates. School doctor Morgan Campbell (Silver) first thinks Mary is merely crazy but then comes to change his mind.
