Captain John Orr (Liotta) is an arson investigator with the Glendale fire department. He's investigating a six-year string of fires in southern California (in the 1980s) along with protege/inspector Keith Lang (Leguizamo). Everyone's a suspect, including the firefighters themselves. Based on a true story.
