The Gathering Storm Movie Review 2002

Finney stars as a typically pugnacious Winston Churchill, who in the mid-1930s is in the political wilderness as he tries to warn an indifferent England about German re-armament and Hitler's rise to power. But he also has problems at home, since he beloved wife Clemmie (Redgrave) has gone off on an extended trip abroad to ease some marital strain and Winston is feeling lonely, jealous, and vulnerable.
