Confusing romantic drama about memory. Psych professor Sam Franks (Pearce) is going home for his dad's funeral. He has an odd encounter with Ruby (Bonham Carter), rescues her from a suicide leap off a bridge, and discovers she has amnesia. Efforts to unlock Ruby's memories help Sam with his own teenaged tragedy that revolves around his girlfriend drowning. However, the story never does make much sense.
