Isn't it about time for Gooding, Jr. to give back his Oscar? Or at least fire his agent? In this pathetic attempt at comedy, he's Jerry, a lovesick guy distraught over a failed relationship. To the rescue comes his buddy Nick (Sanz), a loud-mouth skirt chaser who suggests a singles cruise. When Nick insults the travel agent, they're sent on a gay cruise, where Jerry falls for the ship's choreographer Gabrielle (Sanchez) and must pretend to be gay to win her. Yep, it's a crappy as it sounds. Gooding, Jr. tries hard, but he can't bail out this floater, which is aimed straight at the rocks of a cliche-ridden and spectacularly unfunny script and direction that wouldn't make the cut on a third-rate sitcom.
