Skinwalker Movie Review 2002

Middle-aged Native American detective Joe Leaphorn has moved from the city to an Arizona Navajo reservation at the behest of his wife Emma (Tousey). He's finding it difficult to adjust, particularly when someone--or something--begins killing the local medicine men. His young partner, Officer Jim Chee (Beach) of the Navajo Tribal Police, thinks a skinwalker--an evil shape-shifting force--is at work but Leaphorn thinks the killer is more human than supernatural. Based on the mystery series by Tony Hillerman.
