Lone Star State of Mind Movie Review 2002

That state seems to be perplexed if not downright idiotic. Good-hearted Earl (Jackson) has promised his ditsy girlfriend Baby (King) that he will take her to L.A. so that she can fulfill her dream of becoming a soap opera actress. Only before they can leave their redneck community, Baby's doofus cousin Junior (Qualls) lands in a whole heap 'o trouble and Earl promises to set things right.
