Canadian social worker Paula Jackson (Walker) discovers that charismatic Roch Theriault (Picard), who calls himself Moses, maintains a backwoods commune/religious cult consisting of several women who think of themselves as his wives. When Paula tries to intercede on behalf of their children, she finds the women would rather give their kids up to social services than leave their leader despite their abuse at his hands. Based on a true story, which took place in Quebec. English and French with subtitles.
