Guinness is brilliant as world-weary spy master George Smiley, who has been somewhat forcibly retired from British Intelligence, better known as "The Circus," after a change at the top. But when a mole is discovered operating at the very highest levels, Smiley is approached on the quiet to root him out without giving the game away. Complex and sometimes confusing espionage drama based on the novel by John Le Carre. Followed by "Smiley's People."
