Ernest Rackman (Wyle) is one of life's losers. He gets fired from his videostore job and suffers bouts of violence and suicidal impulses. Then he poses as a police officer in order to "rescue" teenaged prostitute Christiane (McComb) so they can begin a new life together but this also doesn't go as planned.
