Because his mother has lost her job, a seven-year-old boy (Yoo) is forced to leave the city of Seoul to stay with his wizened mute grandmother (Kim) in her ranshackle rural hut. The spoiled kid can't believe he has to do without fast food, let alone indoor plumbing and other modern conveniences. But what the boy eventually comes to realize is that his grandmother loves him unconditionally. Korean with subtitles.
