Slice of life Americana that's a showcase for actor Forster. Eddie Miller (Forster), a guy in his fifties, is a longtime diamond salesman who travels to jewelry stores throughout Pennsylvania. After having a heart attack, his company wants Eddie to retire--after he trains brash Bobby Walker (Wahlberg) to take over his route. Bobby's an eager loudmouth who bullies while Eddie knows how to finesse his clientele. Still he wants to learn and to befriend Eddie but the story turns out to more than a reluctant old dog teaching a pup some tricks to get along.
