Webb is a delight in his Oscar-nominated role as the prissy Lynn Belvedere, who takes a job as a babysitter to the three hellion sons of Harry (Young) and Tacey (O-Hara) in their typical suburban community. Mr. Belvedere has soon wrangled the family in line but there's more to the man than his superior skills. It seems he's doing research and writing on expose on life in the suburbs, which becomes a best-seller and a local scandal. Followed by "Mr. Belvedere Goes to College" and "Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell." Based on the novel "Belvedere" by Gwen Davenport.
