Deliver Us from Eva Movie Review 2003

Eva (Union) is the overbearing, self-righteous eldest of the four Dandridge sisters. After their parents' untimely death, Eva took on the role of the surrogate mother and since then has become an overpowering influence in their lives. Her sisters' significant others, tired of their lives being dictated by Eva, decide to hire Ray (LL Cool J), a noted ladies man, to woo her out of their lives. The attraction turns real though, and complications arise. Plot is predictable, (it's yet another updating of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew") but you don't mind due to great chemistry between the two solid leads.
