Biker Boyz Movie Review 2003

Kid (Luke) is the hotshot teenager biker who challenges Smoke (Fishburne) the long-time reigning "King of Cali." Often referred to as "The Fast and the Furious" on motorcycles, but doesn't achieve the same level of entertainment. Soap opera subplots and cliched dialogue don't help. Then again, "Furious" had the same problems and managed to make a boatload of cash. The actors, however, do a good job with a so-so script, and Luke is fast becoming an actor worth noticing.
