Sentimental comedy set in a small Welsh village filled with eccentrics. That would include singing baker Jack (Pryce), a tyrannical widower who dominates his gauche, 30-ish daughter Annie-Mary (Griffiths). She's saving up to buy a house of her own when her father is felled by a severe stoke and she must take over running the family bakery (for which she has no talent). What Annie-Mary can do is sing and she decides to enter a talent contest in Cardiff in order to fund a trip to Disneyland for her dying friend Bethan (Page). Very twee.
