Crazy as Hell Movie Review 2002

Eriq La Salle makes his feature directorial debut in this uneven swirl of psychiatric and metaphysical themes. Renowned psychiatrist Dr. Adams (Beach) arrives at a mental hospital to treat a group of patients using his controversial methods. Fueling his already robust superiority complex, his efforts are being filmed by weaselly documentary maker Parker (McGinley). When a seemingly rational man admits himself into the hospital claiming to be Satan (La Salle), Adams begins to lose control of his patients and his own sanity. Worthwhile for La Salle's performance but seems to drag when he's not on screen.
