Director Justman and writer Slutsky (who wrote the book of the same name) reveal the behind-the-scenes story of the "Funk Brothers," the musicians who backed-up Motown's best and were unknown to anyone but their peers and music fanatics. There's archival footage, interviews with the remaining "Brothers," and a concert performance with contemporary singers doing the Motown standards accompanied by these living legends.
