The 20th film in the James Bond series carries a lot of "in" jokes referring to previous films, including the bikini and knife belt worn by NSA agent Jinx (shades of Ursula Andress in Dr. No). Of course, the beautiful Berry is well-worth comtemplating, which is a good thing since this Bond is fairly tiresome with its convoluted plot and over-the-top action. It starts off well and Brosnan is comfortable in the role (even with the silly double entendres) but the main villain (Stephens) is another meglomaniac with designs on taking over the world (wrapped around some political cant) and the second half of the film is one chase scene after another. Yawn.
