Read My Lips Movie Review 2001

Hearing-impaired Carla (Devos) is an office worker for a real-estate firm who is tired of being either ignored or used. When her boss has her hire an assistant, Carla chooses ex-con Paul (Cassel), who has no discernable office skills but does retain his shady criminal associations. He wants to heist some loot from an old associate, she wants revenge on a weaselly co-worker and it seems Carla's lip-reading skills are the key to both plans. French with subtitles.
