My Wife is an Actress Movie Review 2001

Yvan (Attal) is a TV sports journalist married to famous actress Charlotte (Gainsbourg). He's irritated by the public demands celebrity makes on their relationship and jealous of her co-stars when she films sex scenes. Charlotte's off to London for her latest project, with a courtly and seductive older leading man, John (Stamp). Charlotte can't understand her husband's neuroses and Yvan's fretting increases. Self-mocking and frequently charming although the sub-plot concerning Yvan's pregnant sister is an annoying distraction. French with subtitles.
