Michelle (Tautou) is a twenty-year-old model looking for love and a religious affiliation. When she meets thirty-something Jewish vet Francois (Baer), she thinks she's found both. She zealously begins the process to convert, while he is pretty much non-practicing. Conflicts arise due to their different levels of commitment. Baer and Tautou both have charm to spare and the ending is unconventional for a romantic comedy. In French with subtitles
