Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie Movie Review 2002

Based on the true story of Brooklyn-born Benny Silman (Krumholtz) who undergoes culture shock when he begins attending Arizona State University. He takes frequent trips to Vegas and is soon running his own campus bookmaking operation but wants more. Then Benny meets hoops star Stevin Smith (Kittles) who isn't adverse to making some money on the side. So Benny hooks up with a big-time Vegas gambler (Turturro) to shave points in ASU games.
