Recalls March 30, 1981 when President Reagan (Crenna) lay critically wounded in George Washington University hospital after having been shot by John W. Hinckley Jr. The administration is in chaos and power struggles break out between Secretary of State Alexander Haig (Dreyfuss) and Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger (Feore). Cable drama seems to be more satire than fact.
