Twelve-year-old Timmy (Gamble) is a gifted young golfer who is pushed by his father to improve his game. He becomes a caddy at the local country club and manages to get tips from reluctant club pro Foster Pearce (Sinise) but learns about more than just golf. Based on the novel by Coyne, who co-scritped.
