Felicidades Movie Review 2000

A not exactly joyous story set on Christmas Eve but probably much more realistic about the expectations that the holiday brings to people. A random group of men and women randomly cross paths during the evening--a doctor eager to seduce a beautiful woman, a father doing some last-minute shopping, a man in a wheelcar, a writer--all looking for some connection that they're not finding. Bittersweet rather than bitter but also frustrating because you learn so little about the characters. Spanish with subtitles.
