Fresh out of new ideas, Disney apparently saw gold in a few of their amusement park rides and decided to make movies out of them. This tale of talking, singing bears is the first installment. When Beary (voice of Osment) finds out that he's adopted, and not actually part of the human family that raised him, he decides to take a journey to visit Country Bear Hall in order to find his roots. Unfortunately, the hall is slated for demolition by evil banker Reed Thimple (Walken). Beary attempts to reunite the Country Bears, the legendary band that made the hall famous, in order to save it. Standard Disney fare, which means nothing objectionable except the attempt to make you buy more of their toys.
