The best from Blane's three TV specials: "Street Magic" (1996), "Magic Man" (1998), and "Frozen in Time" (2000). Hailed as the successor to Houdini (but what young magician isn't?), Blaine mixes magic and spirituality into entertainment for the average person. Both "Street Magic," shot in the U.S., and "Magic Man," shot in South America, show Blaine doing tricks for random citizens. "Frozen in Time" shows the stunt where he remained awake and frozen for three days in a giant block of ice.
