Chasing Holden Movie Review 2001

Cliched teen angst comedy/drama does refer to Holden Caulfield of "Catcher in the Rye." 19-year-old Neal (Qualls) is back at prep school after a two-year stay in a mental hospital. His English teacher Alex (Kanan) assigns his students an essay on what happened to Holden after the end of the Salinger novel. Neal decides the best way to find out is to visit the reclusive author--accompanied by his one friend, T.J. (Blanchard).
