One Kill Movie Review 2000

Fact-based drama focuses on a murder and a trial. Mary Jane O'Malley (Heche) is a decorated Marine captain and divorced mom who is having an affair with her troubled senior officer, Maj. Nelson Gray (Shepard). Mary Jane breaks things off when she finds out Nelson is married but he's obsessed and when he breaks into her home, she shoots him in self-defense. At least, the D.A. says justifiable homicide but the military has other ideas and decides to try O'Malley itself. Good performances by the leads.
