Shakespeare's "King Lear" set in 1840s Texas with Stewart as John Lear, the patriarch rancher who gives his property to greedy daughters Susannah (Harden) and Rebecca (Holly) instead of to sweet daughter Claudia (Cox). Then the bad girls kick him out into the wilderness. Powerful performance by Stewart does the Bard proud.
