Yet another noisy movie adapted from a videogame, which never gets as creepy as a zombie movie should. Umbrella Corp. (AKA the Hive) is the front for a secret military tech and genetics operations. Its security operations are controlled by a A.I. computer known as the Red Queen, which instigates a series of defensive measures to contain a virus (that can reanimate the dead) that has been released. A group of containment specialists (including heroine babe Jovanovich) are sent in and have to battle workers who have been contaminated and turned into flesh-munching creatures.
