Family and personal dysfunction mark the long-awaited home video debut of Harrison's cult fave "bowling noir" film. Theo (Paseka) is put on suspension from the Pro Bowler's Tour for attacking an opponent with his bowling ball. He searches out his bowling-legend father, Buzz (Alfred), who might be able to help him out. Along the way he meets and falls for a pyromaniac waitress (MacFayden), whose father is evil bowling kingpin Miles Kastle, and her brother is escaped psycho patient Junior. When Theo finds Pop, he's in cahoots with Miles, helping him run an illegal midget bowling circuit. Harrison's excellent low-budget direction, and a hilarious, if completely twisted script, enables this one to pick up the difficult 7-10 split of cinematic success.
