Winter Lily Movie Review 1998

Disturbing shocker. Photographer Peter (Gilmore) checks into a remote B&B where the only inhabitants are owner Agatha (Berryman) and her 14-year-old daughter Lily (Laferriere) who is confined to her bedroom by illness. When Peter finds Lily's diary, he discovers that she is dying because her parents are refusing her medical aid. Is this as a punishment for her affair with a much-older man? And just where is Lily's violent absent father (Bergeron) anyway?
