Life Without Dick Movie Review 2001

Would-be romantic comedy that does passably on the romance and fails completely at the comedy. Ditzy Colleen (Parker) is devastated when she discovers sleazy boyfriend Dick (Knoxville) is cheating on her. She threatens him with a gun and accidentally kills him. Then Daniel (Connick Jr.) shows up. He works for the Irish mob as a hitman only he can't actually kill anyone. (He really wants to be a professional singer.) Dick was his assignment and he's pleased that everything is already taken care of. Colleen thinks Daniel is just grand and decides she will help him out by taking on his hitman duties herself.
