The Kid Movie Review 1997

High schooler Jimmy Albright (Saumier) is secretly taking boxing lessons from trainer Harry Sloan (Steiger) since his parents don't approve. Jimmy is a natural and is ready to compete in the amateur championship match. Then Harry dies and fellow boxer Trey (Brochu) schemes to have Jimmy's parents find out about his secret life and forbid him to box.
