Dogtown Movie Review 1997

Former beauty queen/cheerleader Dorothy Sternen feels trapped in her small town of Cuba, Missouri. Her longtime boyfriend Ezra Good is a bitter ex-athlete stuck in a dull job who sometimes gets violent. Then high school classmate Philip returns to town. Although he's a struggling actor, Philip is treated like a celebrity, and Dorothy starts giving him the eye. Tensions arise as they all realize how dissatisfied each of them are.
