Love and Rage Movie Review 1999

James Lynchehaun (Craig) turns up on the remote island of Achill in 1896 and soon gets a job looking after the estate of wealthy widow Agnes MacDonnell (Scacchi). He also becomes her lover and the two engage in some unnerving psycho-sexual games that lead to Agnes' being brutalized by James. Based on a true story; adapted from the novel "The Playboy and the Yellow Lady" by James Carney.
