My Uncle Silas Movie Review 2001

Finney certainly has fun in the title role as an aging reprobate (with an eye for the ladies) who teaches his 10-year-old grandnephew Edward (Prospero) how to enjoy life. Based on five short stories by H.E. Bates and set during a rural English summer in the early 1900s.
