Amazingly good sequel finds Stuart tooling around Manhattan in his miniature red sport car with a new, similar-sized friend: a cute, yellow bird named Margalo (Griffith). Stuart is smitten with his fine-feathered friend, taking her on a very PG date to a drive-in movie (his car parked in front of the TV set). Unbeknownst to Stuart, Margalo is actually in cahoots with a scheming Falcon (Woods) which sets off numerous adventures out in the big city for Stuart and a reluctant and even snarkier Snowbell (Lane). New York looks just as idyllic and the animation blended with live-action is even better than the original. More faithful adaptation of E.B. White's 1945 children's classic, on which both films were based.
