Cross-dressing comedy plays like a "Tootsie" retread in sneakers. Jamal (Nunez) is an obnoxious pro basketball player booted out of the league after mooning a ref while protesting a call. Facing total bankruptcy and realizing his only skills are on the basketball court, Jamal dons make-up and falsies and joins a pro women's league as Juwanna Mann. Predictable situations occur, including Jamal falling for beautiful teammate Michelle (Fox) and being hit on by clueless suitor Puff Smokey Smoke (Davidson), but performances save what could have been a complete disaster.
