Bland adaptation of the Robert Culp/Bill Cosby TV series falls short of the cool vibe of the original. Second-banana spy Alex Scott (Wilson) is teamed up with heavyweight boxing champion Kelly Robinson (Murphy) to catch illegal arms dealer Gundars (McDowell), who has stolen a prototype stealth fighter from the U.S. government. Along the way, the duo engage in familiar buddy picture jokiness, and Kelly helps Alex woo mysterious spygirl Rachel (Janssen). Gary Cole is a scene stealer as faux-Spanish superagent Carlos.
