Hsiao Kang (Lee) earns a living on the streets of Taipei by selling cheap wristwatches. Shiang-Chyi (Chen) wants to buy the watch Hsiao is wearing because it displays two time zones and she is flying to Paris. After she leaves, Hsiao suddenly decides to change all the watches on display to Paris time--and then all the watches and clocks he can find all around the city, even a gigantic clock on a building--in order to keep a connection with her. French and Chinese with subtitles.
